I bet you knew the tune of the lyrics above. Yeah, it is part of the song Anna Banana, from the TV ad commercial of PLDT. The 60-second Anna Banana ad features a young boy named Derek S. Lorenzo, who recorded himself singing a song he wrote particularly for his crush. He was so pleased his film clip got many hits on YouTube that he hungrily told his mother about it, not knowing that it was actually his mom who kept on watching his video post, just so he would feel good about himself.

I have to say, the Anna Banana PLDT commercial is really cute. I cherished the fact that the bottom-line was that a mom would do anything for her child. In this instance, the mom ups the views of her son’s song video on YouTube.
I really love the song sang by Derek. He actually composed it himself for Anna, the awesomest girl in his class.

This Derek boy is really cute and awesome. He filmed himself again and composed a Thank You song for the people who viewed and commented on his Anna Banana video.

I have PLDT Watchpad dahil na rin sa Xcite Plan ko. But if you read my status about PLDT right now it sucks big time. Lalo na ang call center mali mali ng information. Nakakairita lang. Kaya mahirap din iupgrade ang plan basta basta. Dame chuchu nila >.<
Problema ko naman ngayon ung Globe connection ko. Ayaw magconnect. Amp!

when i saw this on TV i loved it, then on youtube i loved it even more cause of mom’s love for her son i loved it ever because of the ISP’s fast connection! DSL personally i think is the best among the ISP in the PH!
ang cute nga ng commercial na yan! ang sweet diba? pero nung tiningnan ko sa tumblr at kung saan saan pa parang inis yung madami sa commercial na yan, nakakainis daw yung mom, paasa XD, pero naisip ko rin na paano kung ako pala yung boy na yun, haha… tapos malaman ko puro nanay ko lang pala. pero kahit na diba? ang sweet talaga!
