It’s great to see brands such as Levi’s not rest on their successes as they remain to progress their products. Keeping that in mind, Levi’s footwear looks promising, to say the least. The Levi Strauss company will make their way into the footwear division with their latest creation called the Cone Denim Vulcanized Hi as part of its “Good O’ldays” Levi shoe 2012 collection. At first glance, the sneaker appears to be solid in color with features influenced by more established pioneers of the industry, but on closer inspection a subtle two-tone hue is realized — half made up of stone washed denim and half with deeply-dyed suede. The shoe is further finished with accented double stitching, a ribbed vulcanized toecap, and a back zipper for easy access. The new collection, which was produced in collaboration with Levi’s Japan, is set to launch this summer and will be available at select Levi’s footwear stockists.
